Wainwright School
PWA project field manager supervising placement of gravel pad for new Wainwright School in Wainwright, Alaska. Being located above the Arctic Circle on permanently frozen ground / permafrost an insulation blanket / gravel pad is required to keep the building transmitted heat from thawing the frozen ground. PWA was the project manager for this facility.

Oil Field Maintenance Facility
PWA field engineer reviewing, "freeze back" pile installation at Prudhoe Bay for the new Maintenance Facility. This project provided for a new arctic maintenance facility for all NSB owned equipment servicing the greater Prudhoe Bay oil fields. PWA was the prime design consultant.
